Some systems will manage files created by multiple users to send the digital recordings automatically or manually to remote transcriptionists.

Physicians phone in or send their recordings to specified directories on the MTSO computer network or Internet server. The system then will regularly scan these directories and automatically (or manually) forward the files to the correct transcriptionist.
